WIMAPS December 3, 2016 Meeting
By Scott Malawski

Our most recent meeting and holiday party was held on December 3 at the home of Wayne and Connie in Illinois.

Members were treated to an amazing variety of Nickelodeons, music boxes and phonographs. Wayne gave members a tour of his collection and proudly showed off his newly acquired Edison Spring Motor with a Class M top. The highlight was listening to the Nickelodeons playing classic Christmas tunes such as “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,” and “Silver Bells.”

Members got excited about show-n-tell. There are always great items, such as a unique record bag to hold 12” records with great color graphics of records with titles, a photo of an Edison Spring Motor Phonograph with Bettini attachment, and a gold-plated Eldridge Johnson Model C phonograph.

After the meeting, members chowed down on some great food brought by our members, with more than enough food and desserts for all.

Thank you Wayne and Connie for being such gracious hosts!
